The Gold Egg
Caw,caw,CAW! squawked a hawk. I was on a deserted island. The big rocks were brown and the sand was tan.
There was a dark cave ahead of me. I slowly walk into
the cave when something shined into my eyes. It was a gold egg. I walked closer and the gold egg wiggled. I poked the gold egg and it shook. I picked the gold egg up into my hands and it shook more and more then it cracked open. I wondered what was inside. Something slithered out of the gold egg. It looked like a piece of grass. The creature was darck blue and had green polk-a-dots.
It was as slimy as a wet lizard. The creature was a type of reptile. “It is a snake!’’ I yelled out loud. The snake sort
of smiled. I was surprised about the snake. Suddenly the
snake spoke and said in a crooked voice “Who are you,
and where am I?’’I said back “I’m Lexie and you are on a deserted island in a cave.’’ The snake asked me if I could take
him back to his real habitat. I said “ I’ll take you there
right away.’’ Then the snake said “How do we get to the jungle though?’’ Magically a boat appeared. “Let’s go on the boat. “I said. So the snake and I climbed onto the boat. The boat magically appeared near a jungle. The snake slithered off the boat and said “Good bye.’’I was happy the snake was home but a little sad he wasn’t with me any more. “I hope I will see him agian.’’I said happily
